http://www.myvideo.de/watch/981564

Wie heißt es so schön da, wo das Video war: „there is nothing to see here“.

Hello Vimeo-Team,

looks like „someone“, most likely you, deleted a clip I uploaded
yesterday.

Clip number: 149585

This was highly interesting footage and of historical and public
interest. Showing that BBC reported on 9/11, what had not happened yet.
Due to the nature of the video and the questions it raises, this clip
has been censored over and over again. Now on your platform, too.

There are no copyright issues, the original footage has been released
on archive.org since it is of vital interest and so has to be free for
research and documentation.
The copyright owner of the annotated clip – 911blogger.com – has
explicitly allowed copying, resizing and uploading of his work.
Copyrighted music that was on the first release has been removed from
this one.

So please – what were your reasons to delete it?
Who demanded it, and why did you comply?
And please – don’t bug out. Give reasons.
This story is discussed on major newspapers and official news forums
meanwhile all over the place, and it becomes more and more ridiculous
trying to push „the cat back into the bag“.
With kind regards
Martin Hoffmann

P.S.: this letter is an „open letter“ and will be published with your
answers on the news forum of the „Sueddeutsche Zeitung“ (one of the
biggest papers in Germany) and on my blog.

Hi Martin,

The reason is simple and has nothing to do with the nature of the
content. Here are the rules from our upload page:

Please upload a clip only if:
A. you created it. No TV shows or stuff you found on the web.
B. it does not contain pornography.
C. it is not an infomercial or other type of advertisement.

As you can see, your clip violated Rule A, because you did not create
it and it was from TV.

I wish you the best in your quest to find the Truth.

Take care,

Allerdings gilt wohl: no politics, please.

Hi Dalas, and thanks for your reply!

let me put forward a few more questions. Or better statements – it is
up to you if you want to deal with them.

> The reason is simple and has nothing to do with the nature of the

Sure? see below. This is not very convincing.

> As you can see, your clip violated Rule A, because you did not
> create it and it was from TV.

It takes about 30 seconds and a few Google searches to find complete TV
documentaries on Vimeo (even one from the BBC, *lol* – and I did not
search very hard), which live there quietly and happily ever
after. And quite a bit of other obviously not self-created stuff, some
violating copyrights rather obviously.

THIS stuff is „from TV“, and clearly not homegrown.

My clip used BBC video footage – sure. It is an annotated documentary
about one of the most interesting „hickups“ in media in the last
decade, so it has to use footage. But it is not „from TV“ – I would be
glad if some broadcaster had the guts to air this brief documentation.

I and others have full permission of the author to get out this
information by whatever means.

So opposite to the material mentioned above, which is still on your
site, my clip is not „from TV“, and at least fully legitimated by the
author. And btw you did not even ask me about authorship – I could just
have been another alias of 911veritas, right?

The only difference between the BBC/WTC7 clip and the material
mentioned above is that my clip was legitimate, of political nature,
and currently much disliked by the BBC and the US government.
Other material that clearly violates your own rules and a few laws as
well is still on your site – some for months. The WTC7-Prophecies got
deleted after a couple of hours.
Strange, ain’t it? And you tell me the content did not matter?! C’mon.

> I wish you the best in your quest to find the Truth.

Thanks Dalas. Sometimes the problem is not finding the truth –
sometimes the truth is stunningly obvious. The problem is getting it
out. With platforms like yours it would be easier. But obviously you
guys have a different agenda.
Luckily there are (a very few) others that still allow important
material to be shown – and not only the 911th clip of some
webcam-hampster….

Take care
Martin

Hi Martin,

On each clip page, there is a button marked „Flag.“ If you could flag
all of the content you have found on our site which violates our
rules, I will remove it. The reason your clip was removed quickly is
because I was looking through the uploads for the day and saw your
clip. There is a lot of content on Vimeo that should not be there and
I delete it as I find it, or as it is flagged by the community.

The only time I make an exception for TV content is if it’s a short
clip featuring the user, like „Look, here I am on the local news!“ or
if it is an advertisement made by the person who uploaded it, and
they are trying to demonstrate their production skills.

All other clips from TV are deleted if they are found/reported,
regardless of the content.

I certainly don’t believe that the „official“ version of the events
of 9/11 are truthful, but that doesn’t mean that you get to break the
rules that everyone else on Vimeo must follow.

I encourage you to Flag the content you have found that violates our
policies. It would help me to keep such content off of Vimeo.

To summarize: I found your clip, I deleted your clip because it was
TV footage, there was no outside influence or political agenda.

Best wishes,

*lach*

Hi Dalas –

it’s ok. No offense meant. The „coincidences“ around this matter are
just too many, and after this documentation got deleted on Google,
YouTube and others just too often and for ridiculous reasons (your
policy is quite „personal“ and so it is up to you – their’s are are
more formal and there are no copyright issues with this clip, so no
reason to delete it – apart from politics…) it really seems that no
video hoster on the web has the guts to leave online a clip that
exposes some inconvenient details… whichs makes me angry.

> P.S. – What is the URL of your blog? I’d like to see some of the
> information you have on there.

Most things there are in German, except for our mails.
(as you can tell from my grammar, I am German, *grin*)

If you would have a closer look at the video, you can get the full
version on 911blogger.com, link to the article:

http://www.911blogger.com/node/6651

another interesting read is Mr Porter’s blog – he is the current head
of news at BBC World and right now he is a bit under attack by his
customers for his stupid evasions regarding this strange „prophecy“…
more than 300 comments made it past their gatekeepers…and there were
a lot more…

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theeditors/2007/02/part_of_the_conspiracy.html

and

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theeditors/2007/03/part_of_the_conspiracy_2.html

The story is just ONE little detail in the 9/11 mess and all the
official crap that just does not add up. But it is a rather important
and obvious one, which makes it useful for getting people started and
thinking and doing some research…

Take care – and maybe you could think about opening a „relevant news“
section on vimeo… the mainstream media just do not do their job, not
on 9/11, not on many other occasions, and it is up to us to force them
back to good journalism – or forward, since I doubt they were ever
there…
